Micah retired from the US. Army after being severely wounded from a Taliban attack, while trying to rescue his comrades in 2012. He has spent well over 100 hours in ride alongs with our Police Officers including this past Christmas day. Additionally Micah's volunteered his time for the past four years at the CT SWAT Challenge. He is also a former paramedic, and volunteer EMT. He understands the frustration at the VA, and is the only candidate who receives healthcare there. On National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day Micah said "Nobody appreciates you more than I do. Politicians write the laws, you uphold them. Stay safe and God Bless".
